Mushroom Summer-ized

A three month “retreat” where your life is the ceremony.

Retreats usually entail leaving behind your home and daily triggers, perhaps returned to with a slight shock to the nervous system. In addition to the convenience and accessibility of a stay-at-home retreat, Mushroom Summer invites our everyday lives to become the ongoing fodder of our self-exploration, not only on journey days but during all the days in between. This will be greatly amplified by participating in the additional layer of a microdose program with support from facilitators and your cohort, where every day is an opportunity for ceremony.

  • Our first journey together will be a medium to macro dose as we test the waters with the medicine as a group. Set in the beautiful Love & Peace in Kitsilano, we will immerse in shamanic music and close with live sound healing.

    Date: Saturday, July 12, 2025
    Location: Love & Peace

  • Our second journey is meant to be the strongest dose of the three, with optional Syrian Rue (an MAOI to amplify the effects of psilocybin). We will return to Love & Peace in Kits, replicating the format with immersive sound track and a sound bath to close.

    Date: Saturday, August 9, 2025
    Location: Love & Peace

  • Our final journey will be a lower dose set in stunning Jericho Park in a private amphitheatre of trees and sky. Journeyers can find their own quiet space to connect with themselves, the medicine, and the earth. We will close with a beach picnic and dip!

    Date: Saturday, September 6, 2025
    Location: Jericho Park

  • Each Journey will be closely followed by an online Group Integration Session where the Facilitators will recommend trusted general and personalized Integration tips. Everyone is invited to share highlights of their Journey and receive gentle guidance from the Facilitators. You are also free to remain in silence and continue to integrate without sharing.

    Sundays, 6:00 pm, Zoom
    Dates: July 13, August 10, Sept 7

  • We will offer regular Online Group Breathwork Sessions to open, close and intersperse each Journey (four sessions total). Conscious Connected Breathing creates an opening to travel even deeper and/or further integrate lessons received through your journeys and microdosing work.

    Sundays, 6:00 pm, Zoom
    Dates: July 6, July 27, August 24, September 14

  • Participants are invited to participate in a microdose program for the duration of Mushroom Summer. IT IS NOT A REQUIREMENT. Microdosing refers to taking a subperceptual dose (ie. 0.15 mg of psilocybin) which primarily works on the subconscious level as you go about your daily life. Dreams and emotions become more pronounced as deep-rooted material is loosened to the surface. A common protocol for a microdose program is to partake once every 3 days, allowing rest days for integration and reset. It is also possible to microdose intuitively - on whichever days you feel called.

Microdosing may greatly intensify Mushroom Summer. You can pause or stop anytime.

  • You’re here to heal parts of yourself that are wounded or hurting

  • You are open to befriending fear as a guide to your highest growth

  • You have the capacity to offer and receive the support of your cohort

Your innate healer is telling you, yes or no.

Can you listen?
Can you trust your knowing?
This gentle prerequisite is the first step. Mushroom Summer may be beginning for you this very moment.

Power of the Group

The Mushroom Summer group dynamic is meant to be a primary healing agent for all participants.

Many core wounds are incurred through relationship, and therefore can only heal through relationship — a reason the therapeutic container can be so powerful. We may trigger each other through transference and countertransference, creating opportunity for awareness and healing. Any judgment is only an arrow pointing inside to where we have our own disharmony to integrate.

We will witness and hold space for each other with compassion and acceptance, offering the breath of unconditional love knowing we are all, always, in all ways, doing our very best.

The size of the group will be capped at 7 participants to foster intimacy and closeness. There will be a group chat for check-ins and shares as a key component of the program. Participants are welcome and encouraged to offer and receive additional support through texts, phone calls and in-person meet ups, if they so choose.

Your Co-Facilitators

Louis Belleau
Meditation & Breathwork Teacher
Psychedelic Researcher & Guide

Louis discovered the transformative potential of psychedelics at 17, which led him to study Zen Buddhism, yogic philosophy, and nature-based traditions, and graduate from McGill University with majors in Psychology, Philosophy, and Religious Studies. Believing that psychedelic experience is a human right with important biological functions, Louis seeks to democratize informed access to psychedelics through research, education and community support services. Founder of Psygaia and early contributor to Nectara’s integration program, Louis is currently working on his Psygaia Hypothesis while completing his MA in Psychedelics & Consciousness Studies at the University of Ottawa. As a certified yoga and breathwork teacher, he teaches at various centers in BC. In his free time, Louis enjoys backcountry skiing, trail running, writing, calisthenics, teaching, and designing.

Carly O’Rourke
Psychedelic Therapist

Carly’s devotion to God/Creator, service to humanity and Gaia, and dedication to her own inner work are the pillars upon which her psychedelic practice is built. She has deeply cultivated sacred relationships with the medicines she serves, energizing trust in their healing capacity to invite others into full surrender. Due to extensive self exploration, she comfortably welcomes all light and darkness to centre stage with loving acceptance. Her prep and integration sessions utilize a smooth interplay of Internal Family Systems parts work, Somatic Therapy, and Compassionate Inquiry to open the gates for a profound journey and bring its wisdom into long-term transformation. She gently directs conversation towards what is most meaningful to a person, and her peaceful, non-judgmental attitude, kind and brimming heart generate a powerful sense of safety in her presence.

Louis and Carly met at Phoenix Academy Psychedelic Therapy Training where they guided each other’s journeys, developing a profound trust in each other. They intuitively realized the potential to elevate each other’s practice by offering medicine as a team, combining their strengths, skills and wisdom to encircle the group with trust, safety, kindness, and love.

  • I felt connected, seen, and safe in a way my soul has been yearning for a very, very long time. I am so grateful.

  • Louis naturally breathes and embodies a presence of deep peace. The breathwork sessions we did together were life changing. A combination of a crystal clear intuition and skillful guidance made me feel safe and held, allowing for a frozen part of me, stuck and hidden in time to open and melt with great lightness and ease. Highly recommended.

  • It was wonderful. I feel like I was able to revisit, resolve and ultimately release many, many issues that I’d been talking about in therapy for years. Carly provided a safe container and was excellent at observing and tracking my parts and bringing them all together again at the end of the session. I feel considerably lighter.

  • The hour-long consultation with a Louis before my journey proved incredibly helpful. It left me as prepared as possible to take the leap and as a result I had the most meaningful psychedelic experience of my life. Among the most useful parts of the consultation was learning a new breathing practice that allowed me to stay grounded throughout the journey. Going forward, that practice has become a pillar of my daily life. I would definitely recommend Woven to anyone interested in doing transformative inner work.

  • When I first met Louis, his openness and confident vulnerability drew me in. After doing breathwork with him, I saw that guiding others was his true calling. This made me trust him completely for my psychedelic journey. Louis’s peaceful demeanor was calming, and I felt a deep sense of safety with him.

  • As an experienced explorer, I wanted Louis to help enhance and deepen my experience in an integrative way. Our conversations during and after my journey have lightened my path, reducing shame and revealing a core value of compassion. His knowledge of Buddhism, yoga and nature-based traditions has deepened my spiritual practice, teaching me gentleness towards myself. I am deeply grateful to Louis for his guidance and support along my psychedelic journey.

  • Carly has amazing openness and compassion for life journeys that is so refreshing to find in the vast and heavily professionalized world of healing. Over about 2 years of working with Carly, she helped me tap into a version of myself that I didn't even realize I had lost. We experimented with a range of modalities that she seems to have an insatiable curiosity for adding to, respecting that different things work for different people.

  • It was everything I've always wanted, and more.

  • I've recommended Carly to every friend who has approached me about deep emotional challenges they were facing, and I will continue to do so. I haven't visited Carly in a while because she helped me get to a place of self knowledge and emotional regulation that has sustained me. But I know she would welcome me back anytime I really needed support. Which we know can come unexpectedly. That gives me a lot of comfort.
